CORD & ResidencyCAS Submission Guide
Complete instructions for submitting SLOEs and OSLOEs to ResidencyCAS
Submitting Non-Residency-Based EM SLOE, Subspecialty Rotation SLOE, and OSLOE
Navigate to the CORD System:
Go to https://esloe.cordem.org/ and select your evaluation type from the 3 choices in the bottom half of the page.
Locate the ResidencyCAS Letter ID Field:
Each evaluation type will contain a ResidencyCAS Letter ID input field on the right side under the AAMC ID field.
Complete and Submit:
Fill out the form as normal. At the bottom, you will find a new button called "Submit to ResidencyCAS" - click that to transmit the file to the ResidencyCAS system.
Important:
A ResidencyCAS Letter ID is REQUIRED to transmit the file.
Form Recovery Scenario
Scenario:
You filled out one of these three evaluation types previously and did not have your ResidencyCAS Letter ID to input, so you were unable to "Submit to ResidencyCAS" - you previously just did the "Generate PDF" option. On that previous PDF, you should see a special unique value at the bottom of the PDF, called a UUID.
Return to the Evaluation Form:
Go to the same evaluation form you would like to recover (if you are trying to recover an OSLOE, go back to the OSLOE form, etc).
Use the Recovery Feature:
You will see a button to click at the top of the form that says "Recover a previous form". Click that button to reveal an input box.
Enter UUID and Recover:
Copy the UUID from your PDF and paste it into the box before clicking the "Recover" button. This will recover that form and you will not need to fill in all of your evaluation information again.
Submit to ResidencyCAS:
You can now enter your ResidencyCAS Letter ID and successfully transmit it to the system following the steps from the previous section.
Submitting an eSLOE to ResidencyCAS
Login to CORD eSLOE System:
Login to the CORD eSLOE System like normal using your credentials.
Access Your Evaluation:
Either add a new evaluation or edit a previously existing evaluation inside your personal dashboard view. You'll notice there is now a new input field called "ResidencyCAS Letter ID" under the AAMC ID.
Complete and Submit:
Fill out the form like normal, and when you have filled in your ResidencyCAS Letter ID, you can use the new button at the bottom of the form called "Submit to ResidencyCAS".
Important:
A ResidencyCAS Letter ID is REQUIRED to use this button.
Note on Re-submissions:
If you re-submit a previously transmitted SLOE to ResidencyCAS, it will update on the ResidencyCAS side to replace it with the most recent version.
